Privacy policy.
What personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
Last updated 6 October 2026At Fragta we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we do it, and what rights you have. It applies to our website — including our chat assistant “Frida” — and to the service we provide to freight forwarders and freight centres.
01Data controller
The data controller responsible for processing your personal data is:
- Company
- Fragta
- CVR no.
- 40 13 48 59
- Address
- Vissingsgade 21, 1.
7100 Vejle, Denmark
02What we collect
Depending on how you use Fragta, we process:
- Contact details you provide yourself — name, company, work email and phone number, for example when you book a demo or fill in the contact form in the chat.
- The content of your messages to our chat assistant Frida.
- How you use our interactive demo at demo.fragta.com after signing up — time spent, which screens and features you try, and the questions you ask Frida there — so we can follow up relevantly. We don’t store the text you type into the demo itself.
- Company information about request volumes, lanes and carrier network that you share with us during a trial.
- The content of the freight requests our service processes on your behalf — typically shipper, route, volume, date and requirements.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type and actions on the site, collected through cookies and similar technology.
03The chat assistant Frida
On fragta.com you can chat with our AI assistant “Frida”. When you write in the chat, we process:
- The content of your messages, so Frida can reply.
- The details you fill in yourself in the chat’s contact form — name, email and (optionally) phone number — if you ask to be contacted or want to book a demo.
If you submit the contact form, we store the conversation together with your contact details so we can follow up on your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Frida is powered by Anthropic (Claude), and your messages are not used to train AI models.
Don’t enter sensitive personal data (such as CPR numbers or health information) in the chat. Frida is an AI assistant and can make mistakes — specific quotes are always confirmed by a person.
04Purpose and legal basis
We process your data to:
- Deliver and improve our service (legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Respond to enquiries via chat and forms and schedule demos (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Send relevant information about Fragta, if you have given consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Comply with our legal obligations, such as bookkeeping (Art. 6(1)(c)).
06Retention
We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected for. Demo, chat and contact details are deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact, unless otherwise required by law. Accounting records are kept for five years.
07Where your data is stored
Personal data from our service is stored on servers in the EU (Frankfurt and Copenhagen) and encrypted in transit and at rest. Some processors — including Anthropic and Web3Forms, which run the chat — may process data outside the EU/EEA. This only happens on a valid transfer basis, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).
08Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:
- Access the data we process about you.
- Have incorrect data corrected.
- Have data erased (“the right to be forgotten”).
- Restrict or object to the processing.
- Receive your data (data portability).
- Withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
10Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest update.
